The Hangout Entertainment Experience

Planning your first visit to The Hangout Myrtle Beach? Get ready for more than dinner. Located at Broadway at the Beach, we’re a high energy, family friendly destination where the fun happens every single hour. On the hour, the foam party kicks off in the courtyard, and kids and adults alike run, dance, and play under our giant rainbow of foam. At the 45-minute mark, our entertainment team takes over with dynamics, bringing dance breaks, games, competitions, and table dancing that get the whole restaurant on its feet. Then it all starts again, hour after hour, so there’s always another chance to join in. Every night wraps up with our world famous Shout Show, and during the busy season, local bands add live music to the mix. Whether you’re here for a family dinner, a night out with friends, or a group celebration, you’ll find the kind of energy you can’t find anywhere else on the Grand Strand.   • 1. Birthdays

    There is one thing for certain. You have never been to a restaurant like The Hangout. There’s no better place for food, family & fun. One of our favorite things to celebrate are birthdays. We have a very unique & special way to recognize our birthdays of the month. That is a surprise! You will have to join us for dinner to see what the hype is all about.

  • 2. Party Crew Dynamics

    The party crew, all of our Hangout team members, loves to dance to songs like Cotton Eye Joe, Footloose, & Cupid Shuffle all summer long. After we see your dance moves, our crew will show you some of our footwork. Join in with us, and we will teach the moves!

  • 3. Pocket Scavenger Hunt

    One of the most popular competitions is the pocket scavenger hunt. It is something that the whole restaurant can participate in. Our host will call out items like: an out-of-state driver’s license, a left flip flop, or even a selfie with your server. The first person to bring that item receives a Hangout prize.

  • 4. Special Moments

    One of our favorite things to do at The Hangout is celebrate your special moments. If you are celebrating a birthday, an anniversary, a recent engagement / wedding, or a significant occasion of any kind, we would love to give you a special shoutout. We will work with you to make sure your special moment is magical! YOU are superstars and don’t forget it!

  • 5. Dance With Your Kids

    Last, but not least, is the chance to show us your dance moves! Moms, dads and kids are given the opportunity to get up ON…TO…THE…TABLE to show off their inner rock-star and create a moment you and your family will never forget!
