Position: Receiver

Summary of Position:
The receiver is expected to follow the health and sanitation guidelines set by the state of Alabama.
A Receiver is someone selected for his/her attention to detail and organizational skills, as well as their ability to communicate effectively.
A Receiver possesses great restaurant product knowledge, is firm in their understanding our high food standards, and contributes creative input towards the development of our receiving SOP. The Receiver must comply fully with our SOP of receiving.
The Receiver is responsible for all items accepted into the kitchen and is equal in status to every member of our kitchen team. He/she works in close cooperation with the Chef, Sous Chef and every kitchen employee to ensure all items are handled correctly and rotated properly.
The Receiver is responsible of the items they purchase, and for completing their ordering before vendor cut-off times. All items received must be logged in the Daily Receiving Report before he/she goes to clock out of their shift.
