Summary of Position:
Prep Cooks are expected to follow the health and sanitation guidelines set by the state of Alabama
A Prep Cook is a person selected for his/her production capabilities and organizational skills as well as their ability to communicate effectively.
A Prep Cook is responsible for their area of concentration, and is equal in status, to every member of our kitchen team. He/she works in close cooperation with the Chef and every kitchen employee.
The Prep Cook is directly responsible for the items they produce, and for completing their production sheets. The Prep Cooks are also responsible for the proper handling of all equipment used in production.
A Prep Cook is responsible for the timely and consistent production of all of their production sheet items, including any daily special preparations.
